Preventing Cancer and Embracing Health: Tackling the 'Too Tired' Excuse
A survey revealed that people often feel too tired to make healthy choices, with around 40% of reported cancer
cases being preventable through a healthy lifestyle. The main obstacle for many is fatigue, cited by 29% of men
and 40% of women. Other reasons include the cost of food, lack of time, work/life balance, cost of exercising,
lack of confidence, and uncertainty about where to start. Only 24% of respondents reported no barriers to making
healthy changes. By adopting healthy habits like eating well, staying active, avoiding smoking, and maintaining a
normal weight, individuals can reduce their risk of cancer and other diseases. The modern lifestyle's influence on
unhealthy choices is also a contributing factor.
