It is a type of pranayama or yoga breathing technique that balances the body's pitta and provides a cooling effect. To perform sheetkari, sit in a comfortable asana, place the lower jaw teeth on the upper jaw teeth, and keep the tongue flat with lips separated to breathe through the mouth. Inhale and feel the cool air through the chest, hold your breath for a moment, then release the breath from the nose. Repeat this process 10-15 times, gradually increasing the count and time.
