Gehlot lays foundation stone for wellness centre in Rajasthan

UDAIPUR: Chief minister Ashok Gehlot on Sunday laid the foundation stone of Ayurvedic Medicine Center Health and Wellness Center at Billi ki Bhagal in Fatehpur gram panchayat of Khamnor in Rajasamand.
Gehlot arrived at the helipad on Sunday afternoon.He was accompanied by Speaker, Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, C P Joshi; cabinet minister Udailal Aanjana and Subash Garg.

The Ayush health and wellness centre will be constructed on the banks of river Banas in the Khamnor region. For the purpose, 52-bigha land has been allotted by the district administration in order to promote Ayurvedic system of medicine in the state. While addressing the gathering, CM Gehlot said that it is indeed an important moment to have a wellness centre on the holy land of Lord Shreenathji. He thanked the workers of all departments and expressed his gratitude towards those who came forward and helped during Covid time.

While promoting the natural form of treatment, he said that presently allopathic treatment has dominated all other forms of treatment and has become the first choice.

Keeping in view the health of the people in the state, we have introduced Chiranjeevi Yojna and are providing cashless treatment to the people. We have also increased the limit to Rs 10 lakh which was earlier Rs 5 lakh, he said.
